Get Your Greek on at This Year’s Festival

With blue skies and the sun still shining this summer, there are still some great festivals available for people of all backgrounds and interests to check out. While we’re also excited for the popular Winchester Civil War Weekend, we wanted to give the Greeks some time to shine with the upcoming Winchester Greek Festival for 2018 in Winchester, VA. Let’s take a look at what you can expect.  

Starting Saturday morning from 11am-7pm, as well as finishing on Sunday from noon-7pm, the Annual Winchester Greek Festival returns once again from August 18-19 with plenty of fun to be had. If there’s one thing that people of Greek descent are known for, it’s their cuisine, and it’ll be available in spades.  

Many of the country’s most popular dishes and beverages will be available, as well as some standard fare. Many of these dishes are also incredibly diverse, as curious food fans might have to try all that there is to offer. There will also be plenty of traditional Greek music being played throughout the festival, as people can watch and dance along to.

There will also be plenty of vendors selling unique Greek items, and the best part of all of it is admission and parking are free for the event.
