Apple Harvest Festival at Marker-Miller Orchards 

Kicking the apple festival season off right is the 2017 Apple Harvest Festival at Marker-Miller Orchards in Winchester, VA. Open on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 9am-5pm, as well as Sunday, Oct. 8, from 10am-5pm, people of all ages will be able to enjoy plenty of fun activities throughout the festival. There will be tons of different varieties of apples for attendees to pick, as well as apple cobbler and apple cider slushees to drink. Children will also have a lot to do, with the festival hosting a cow train, a playground and wagon rides. Food will also be served at the event from Blue Ridge Bar-B-Q and 3 Fires Oven Gourmet Pizza.

Apple Festival at Richard’s Fruit Market 

Richard’s Fruit Market is also hosting their own Apple Festival later in the month on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 11am-4pm.  This apple festival will also have a wide variety of apples to choose from and eat. However, there will still be food and fun games available for everyone attending. The Apple Festival at Richard’s Fruit Market will allow attendees to experience a day in the country at an apple orchard.
