It’s the most wonderful time in the year! As we finish up eating our Halloween candy and get ready for a delicious Thanksgiving meal, many of us are already in the Christmas and holiday spirit. As people in the area know, one of the most fun ways to celebrate the holiday season is by Walking in a Winter Wonderland in Clearbrook Park in Frederick, VA. Let’s take a look at what you can do at the exciting Walking in a Winter Wonderland event in Frederick County.
When Does Walking in a Winter Wonderland End?
Starting the season on Friday, November 23, Frederick’s Walking in a Winter Wonderland is an experience that people look forward to every year. For those unaware, this event is the Frederick County Parks & Recreation’s annual Christmas light show. Along with the awe-inspiring lights, there will also be live entertainment on some nights, food and hot chocolate and more. For those who get too cold, there will also be a heated tent.

The Walking in a Winter Wonderland event takes place on nights starting on Black Friday, and goes until December 30, while being closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Regular admission will cost $5 for people aged 12+, $3 for ages 2-11 and free for those aged 0-1. However, admission bumps up to $10, $5 and free for respective age groups on peak nights, which are December 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22 and 23.
