Be Sure to Clean Your Car now That the Weather is Nice
Spring Cleaning Tips for Your Car
It’s officially the first day of spring! As we can all look forward to nicer and warmer weather across the country, it is also the time of year for a little bit of spring cleaning. However, one of the things that gets overlooked in the mix of spring cleaning is our vehicles. We wanted to offer a few spring cleaning tips for your car so you know what to work on this season.
Remove Winter Tires
If you’ve been using them throughout the winter months, be sure to replace your winter tires with all-season ones. In fact, using winter tires on warmer days can be damaging to your tires and vehicle.
Car Wash
Springtime is the perfect time for a car wash, as you can get all of the road salt and other winter filth and grime off of your vehicle to make it look brand new again. Now that it is also warmer out, you can save money on car washes by staying outside and washing your vehicle on your own.

Clean the Inside
Nobody likes a messy car; however, oftentimes we never want to take the time to clean the interior of our cars. Spring cleaning is the perfect excuse to fully clean out the inside of your vehicle, as well as the trunk, to make it smell fresh and look clean.
Replace Wipers
It’s always important to make sure essential aspects of your vehicle are working properly. Since we know spring showers are around the corner, be sure to replace your windshield wipers to make sure you’re safe behind the wheel in the event of a heavy downpour.
Those were just a few of our spring cleaning tips for your car. For even more ways to keep your car looking and operating well, be sure to contact us at Miller’s CrossPointe Motor Cars. You can also follow our blog to learn more about helpful tips and tricks for your vehicle.

Spring provides suitable environmental condition for the maintenance of the vehicle. Vehicle should be washed properly in order to prevent different contaminants from damaging different components of the vehicle. I also agree with your suggestion to replace the winter tires with all-season tires. Winter tires could not last for long time during other season. The condition of the wipers also needs to be evaluated and if necessary should be replaced with suitable alternative in order to ensure better visibility.
After winter’s onslaught of salt, slush and ice we should give our car a clean sweep specially on the underside. We should wash and wax the exterior portion of the car to get rid of salt, dust and mud. We should clean the trunk, clean the inside of the car and look under the hood. Winter tires are of no use during spring. So we must replace them. Windshield wipers are frequently used during winter to remove snow, ice etc. So,they wear out. Therefore the wipers need to be replaced during spring. To replace the wipers of your car, you may refer to:
