Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre’s Broadway Shows 2018 

Summer is the perfect time to get out and explore what the city has to offer. With so many fun things happening during these summer months, fans of performance and the arts are most definitely looking forward to the Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre’s Broadway shows for 2018 coming to the area. Let’s take a look at what’s playing this summer.  

Which Broadway Shows are Coming to the Shenandoah Valley Area? 

Newsies 

Kicking off the summer shows is the popular Broadway classic Newsies. Playing at the Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre from June 21 – July 1, Newsies tells the story of New York City teenagers selling newspapers on the streets, fighting for a better life and better working conditions. 

West Side Story 

Starting up right after the 4th of July is West Side Story. A Broadway staple, West Side Story will be put on by the theatre from July 5 – 15. West Side Story is a more modern take on Romeo and Juliet, telling the story of two lovers caught in the middle of two different street gangs.

Mamma Mia! 

Another popular Broadway show coming to the Shenandoah area is Mamma Mia!, showing at the Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre from July 19 – 29. Telling the story of a woman and her family during her upcoming wedding, this is one Broadway fans won’t want to miss.
