Oktoberfest Returns Once Again to Old Town Winchester

As we dive right into the big pile of leaves that marks the arrival of fall, October is officially here! The favorite month of many, October calls for scary movies, delicious candy and of course, Octoberfest. Sticking to the German roots, Oktoberfest returns once again to Old Town Winchester for the sixth annual celebration, with beer, food, music and more in store. So, let’s take a look at the upcoming 2018 Oktoberfest in Winchester, VA.  

When is the Old Town Winchester 2018 Oktoberfest? 

Taking place on Friday, Oct. 12 – Saturday, Oct. 13, Oktoberfest in Old Town Winchester is the place to be for all things German. Along with all kinds of German beer and food, attendees will also be surrounded by plenty of German traditions, music and crafts.  

Along with serving up great German beers, local breweries such as Winchester Brew Works, Alesatian, Esutcheon, Broken Window and Winchester Cider Works will also be in attendance with their specialty drinks. 

Tickets purchased before Oct. 11 will cost just $20, while tickets purchased after that date will jump to $25 on the days of the event. Tickets will also offer attendees six beer or wine tastings, as well as give people a commemorative German beer stein of their own to keep.

Along with admiring the sights and sounds of this year’s Oktoberfest, there will also be a German beer stein holding contest, as well as a German costume contest. Be sure to bring your best pair of lederhosen!
