Mother’s Day 2018 Events and Activities Near Winchester VA 

Mother’s Day is right around the corner. While many of us try to show our appreciation to our favorite mothers every day, Mother’s Day is the perfect time to go above and beyond. Mother’s Day Picnics 

On Sunday, May 13, the James Charles Winery is hosting their popular Mother’s Day picnics at the vineyard. Taking place from noon to 5pm, those attending will be able to choose from three different meal options provided by the winery, along with delicious wines from the winery complementing the meal. Live music will also be provided by Suzi Brown.  

Mother’s Day Tea 

The Kernstown Battlefield Association is also hosting a relaxing and fun Mother’s Day tea event for mothers and families on Sunday, May 13, from 11am – 2pm. Tickets will be $10 for each attendee, while children aged 5 and under have free admission. The event is also easy for everyone to get to comfortably since there will be no stairs for people to climb. A golf cart will also be available to assist with transportation if need be.

Mother’s Day at Valerie Hill 

Those looking for another elegant and relaxed Mother’s Day would also enjoy Mother’s Day at the Valerie Hill Vineyard and Winery in Stephens City, VA. Attendees will be able to enjoy a delicious meal, tasty desserts and some of the finest Valerie Hill wines, champagne and mimosa bar. There will also be live music featuring artists such as Boo Snider, Phil “Fly” Zuckerman and Amanda Wilkins.
