The Fourth of July is coming up soon. With plenty of cookouts and fireworks to help you celebrate this year, local communities are also hosting their own celebration parties open to the public. Where: Middletown, VA

Middletown’s annual 4th of July Celebration is returning once again, as the event will take place at the Middletown Community Park. Starting bright and early at 8am, the 4th of July Celebration is a fun-filled day with events and activities for all ages. There will be plenty of games for kids to play, a magic show, craft fair and cornhole tournament. There will also be a fun softball tournament taking place throughout the day, as well as live music from local bands such as Souled Out. At 5pm. The Fourth of July Parade will start. At the end of the night at dusk, the Middletown, VA, fireworks show will start and be a perfect cap to the night.

Frederick’s 4th of July

Where: Frederick, MD

Frederick’s 4th of July party is another great option for those looking for a whole day of fun events to be a part of this year. Taking place from noon to dusk, people in the Frederick, MD, area will be able to bounce between two separate stages of live entertainment, as well as plenty of fun rides and activities for kids. People can also attempt to dunk a Frederick, MD, celebrity in the dunk tank, as well as race a bath tub down Culler Lake.
