A stuck parking brake can be the result of brake pads, calipers, drum, or lines not releasing when they should. As a result, there’s no simple, elegant DIY fix for a stuck parking brake. Our first suggestion is to apply and release the brakes numerous times in an effort jostle whatever is stuck loose. Bouncing the car up and down near the affect wheel may also help. If you have a floor jack and some jackstands, then you and jack up that corner, remove the wheel, and tap the affected parts with a hammer or mallet until they come loose.
