Tips on How to Remove Pesky Bumper Stickers
How to Remove a Bumper Sticker From a Vehicle
Whether we feel passionate about something or wanted to express an idea, oftentimes people will slap a bumper sticker on the back of their car. However, while they seem like great ideas at the time, sometimes a bumper sticker can leave you with regret, especially if looking to sell the car. Since it can be pretty tricky to cleanly take off a bumper sticker, we wanted to provide a few tips on how to remove a bumper sticker from a vehicle. Let’s take a look.
Hair Dryer Method
There are two main methods to try when properly removing a bumper sticker. The first one will require a hair dryer. Hold a hair dryer approximately six inches away from the sticker and let the hot air blow all over the sticker for a minute or two. Continue heating the sticker until a corner starts to lift up. Once a corner starts to do that, pull back the sticker from the corner using a fingernail or sharp blade if you have one handy. Once you get the sticker off by heating and pulling the sticker, let the area cool off before using WD-40 to remove sticker adhesive residue.

WD-40 Method
Drivers can also simply try using the WD-40 to get the sticker off by itself. Once again, try to start peeling the sticker at a corner with the use of your fingernail or blade. Once you start pulling the sticker back, spray the WD-40 into the exposed part of the sticker. This should help the sticker peel cleanly until off.
