Bring Out Your Inner Irish Spirit on St. Patrick’s Day

Fun St. Patrick’s Day 2019 Events in Winchester VA 

While not the most popular holiday compared to Christmas, Thanksgiving or Halloween, St. Patrick’s Day is still one of the fun. After the always exciting St. Paddy’s Celtic Fest in Old Town Winchester last weekend, people are still looking forward to celebrating next Sunday on the official holiday. For those still in the Irish spirit, we wanted to highlight a few of the fun St. Patrick’s Day 2019 events in Winchester, VA.

Taking place on St. Patrick’s Day weekend from March 15-17, the Valerie Hill Vineyard and Winery is hosting a fun St. Patrick’s Day party all weekend long. During the Luck O’ the Irish Weekend, the winery will play host to live music all weekend long from musicians such as Jimmy Lee, Gary Smallwood and Fred Pollard. Each day, the winery will also be serving traditional Irish food to go along with their popular wines and drinks. Throughout the weekend, Valerie Hill will also be giving out prizes such as an Amazon Echo Dot to attendees. The St. Patrick’s Day party starts on Friday from 3-9pm, picks back up on Saturday from 11am-7pm and then concludes on Sunday from 11am-5pm.

St. Patrick’s Day Shenanigans 

Taking place on March 17 from 1-8pm is Escutcheon Brewing’s St. Patrick’s Day Shenanigans. Their annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration will feature music and dancing, the popular Crash Test Yummies food truck and the triumphant return of the Kerlogue Red Ale beer.
