Spooky Halloween Attractions Come to Winchester Area

Fun Halloween Events 2018 Near Winchester VA 

As stores already start to play their holiday music and set up their stores for Black Friday and other holiday deals, plenty of people are getting excited for the next holiday on the docket: Halloween. The spookiest time of the year, Halloween is filled with fun activities such as carving pumpkins, trick-or-treating, movie marathons and so much more. That’s why we wanted to highlight some of the fun Halloween Events for 2018 near Winchester, VA.

Now that it’s October, many people like to get their pumpkins right away to carve their silly or exciting creations to life. However, finding the perfect pumpkin is an event all its own. From October 12-14, the south West Oaks Farm Market will open up for people to pick their favorite pumpkins and attempt to make it through the popular corn maze. The Pumpkin Patch at Wilson’s Wild Animal Park also opens up from Oct. 13-14 to offer more pumpkin options, as well as hayrides for people of all ages.

Haunted Nightmares 

The popular Haunted Nightmare attractions return once again to Hill High Farm in Winchester, VA. Outside of the corn maze and moonlit hayrides, the Hill High Farm offers a scary haunted house, popular new escape rooms and even “The Last Ride.” “The Last Ride” event is somewhat like a buried alive simulator, so enter at your own risk!
