Welcome in the Holiday Season at This Fun Winchester Celebration

Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Parade Winchester VA 

One of the most fun and exciting celebrations in Winchester each year, many people look forward to the annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Parade each year. As Halloween is behind us and Thanksgiving is coming up, the whole area will be celebrating the coming of the Christmas season on November 26. Let’s take a look at what’s in store for the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Parade in Winchester, VA, this year.  

Taking place on that Monday night, Old Town Winchester celebration kicks off the holiday season with at 7pm with the Old Town Winchester Parade. The parade is filled with big and exciting floats along with fun music playing throughout. The parade will start on Cameron Street and finish up on Loudoun Street.  

The parade will last roughly an hour, the Tree Lighting Ceremony will soon follow. In fact, Santa Claus will be visiting the fun event as he will walk down Rouss Avenue to light the official Old Town Winchester Christmas Tree.

While admission to the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony is free, there will be a $5 fee for people parking in the nearby parking garages.
