Raven Rocks Hike

Location: 1162 Pine Grove Rd, Bluemont, VA

The rocky Raven Rocks Hike is one of the most popular trails in the area. While shorter than other trails out there at 5.5 miles, people can get beautiful views of the Winchester Valley, Virginia and West Virginia border, as well as the Shenandoah Valley.

Bears Den is known as the “rollercoaster” section of the Appalachian Trail. Despite the nickname, the Bears Den trail is still great fun for friends and family. Like the Raven Rocks Hike, hikers on Bears Den are also treated to wonderful sights that overlook the Shenandoah Valley and Blue Ridge Mountains.
