Trim Levels of the 2022 Honda Passport

Check out our complete Passport inventory!

The Honda Passport was re-introduced in the 2019 model year and is a rough and tumble SUV when compared to the rest of the class. Under the hood, you will find a standard V6 engine that has a sterling reputation for being strong, and reliable. In 2022, the Passport gets a few outstanding upgrades as it comes with a ton of ground clearance, and the available all-wheel-drive system is terrific for camping excursions and foul-weather situations. On top of all of this, the Passport comfortably seats five, with plenty of room left over for their stuff. Overall, there are three spectacular trim levels available for the Honda Passport. Continue reading as we go over what each one offers.

EX-L

The base trim of the Passport is the EX-L, and it, like all versions of the Passport, comes with a 3.5-liter V6 that pumps out an outstanding 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Pairing with this engine is a nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel-drive is standard for the EX-L, though all-wheel-drive is available for those who want more traction on those bad weather days. As for features, the EX-L is very well equipped as it comes with LED headlights, push-button start, an 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and tri-zone automatic climate control. Other standard features include Intelligent Traction Management, a power liftgate, and an under-floor cargo storage area where you can store all of those small items.

TrailSport

On top of having a more rugged appearance, the TrailSport leans toward having more off-road features such as standard all-wheel-drive, 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, a heated wiper rest zone, power-folding side mirrors, a navigation system, 115-volt power outlet, and ambient interior lighting. Also coming standard are rear side window sunshades which do an excellent job of blocking out the sun, so it doesn’t get in your eyes.

Elite

For luxury, the Honda Passport has the aptly named Elite trim, which has 20-inch alloy wheels, a hands-free power liftgate, a heated steering wheel, heated and vented front seats, and heated rear outboard seats. In addition, the Elite, like all versions of the Passport, comes with a ton of advanced safety systems that will keep you and your family secure no matter where you travel in this world. Coming standard are safety systems like automatic emergency braking with forward collision warning, lane-keep assist, road departure mitigation with lane-departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. New to the Passport lineup this year is a Rear Seat Reminder and rear seatbelt reminder.
