Interior Comparison

The 2025 Honda Odyssey and the 2025 Kia Carnival have over 160 cubic feet of interior space. They come with three rows of seats and can accommodate up to eight adults. Meanwhile, higher trims of the 2025 Odyssey come with second-row VIP seats. This reduces the total seating capacity to seven.

However, you can create a similar configuration with the 2025 Odyssey, thanks to its Magic Slide second row. Here, you’ve got three separate seats that individually slide fore and aft. You can even remove each seat independently. So, you can have seven or eight seats in your 2025 Odyssey, depending on your requirements. You can’t do this with the 2025 Carnival.

Then, the 2025 Odyssey comes with active noise cancelation and active control engine mounts for all trims. These two systems help create a quieter and vibration-free travel experience. You don’t get this in the 2025 Carnival. But you do get tri-zone automatic climate control in both minivans. The 2025 Odyssey also comes with power-adjustable and heated front seats as standard. Ventilated front seats are available, as is leather upholstery.

The 2025 Odyssey can accommodate 33 cubic feet of cargo, while the 2025 Carnival has a little bit more space. But Honda counters with its useful One-Motion 60-40 split third-row Magic Seat. In conjunction with the second-row Magic Slide removable seats, you can create various configurations of passenger and cargo space. You can’t do this with the 2025 Carnival. Furthermore, every 2025 Odyssey includes a lockable glove compartment, rear storage well, and cup holders for all trims.

Both minivans have Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® support. Every 2025 Odyssey comes with a digital gauge cluster; this is only available for higher trims of the 2025 Carnival. The 2025 Odyssey also includes features such as dual 12.8-inch rear entertainment screens and a 550-watt 11-speaker premium audio system. A wireless phone charger is available, as are extra USB charging ports.

Finally, the 2025 Odyssey comes with Honda’s CabinWatch® and CabinTalk® systems. These systems let the driver observe and communicate with passengers in the third row.
