2021 Truck Showdown: Ford F-150 vs Chevy Silverado vs RAM 1500
Last year, CrossPointe Motor Cars in Winchester, VA, decided to compare the towing and hauling capabilites of the 2020 Ford F-150, the 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500, and the 2020 Ram 1500. Today, we’re doing another list for the 2021 model year.

Towing and Payload Capacities
As we mentioned in last year’s comparison, different engines tend to have different towing and payload capacities. In the first table, you’ll find the max towing capacity for each truck and the gas engine it needs to achieve that capacity. The second table is the same as the first, except it shows max payload. The third table shows the max towing and payload capacities available on each model with their diesel engine. Take a look.
